Program Summary

Meet the TagsforHope Grant Program! Registered 503c Non-profit shelters and rescue groups can get up to $1000 per pet in life-saving funding for any pet requiring emergency funding. “Emergency funding” means that without receiving a grant, the pet might be a candidate for euthanasia or could perish. The funds can be used for medical treatment, transportation, or essential supplies/fees – receipts or invoices for expenses are required.

Grants that meet the eligibility will be awarded within 24 hours pending availability. As part of being approved for the grant, you’re required to send photos and videos of the pet helped. These photos and videos are compiled into stories that are shared, garnering support from TagsforHope customers. This additional support allows us to offer more grants going forward.

Up To $1000 In Funding

You can apply for up to $1000 in funding pet month as long as you meet the grant criteria. A new application is required for each grant.

Covers Medical, Transport, and Essential Supplies

Funding is only to be used to save the life of an animal, who without this funding, would perish or be euthanized. It is not for day to day use.

A Few Success Stories

Image of a happy dog named Tonka with only 3 legs that was helped by TagsforHope

Tonka

Made possible through partnerships with Animal Humane New Mexico Rescue and Champion Petfoods.

Tonka, a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix was hit by a car in July, 2019. The doc said his right hind leg needed amputation and his pelvic fracture will take a lot of healing time.

The county could not accommodate him, so Tonka became a candidate for euthanasia.

Animal Humane New Mexico center took him in, treated his injuries, performed the surgery and gave him a second chance at a happy, healthy life.

The TagsforHope Grant Program covered the costs of Tonka’s surgery, medications, radiographs and post-operation check-ups.

Brutus

Made possible through partnerships with Toledo Animal Rescue and Champion Petfoods

Brutus is a 3 years old Pug/Chihuahua mix.

The rescue center he was staying at knew he suffered from large growths and infections in each of his ear canals which caused him discomfort, frequent infections, and head shaking.

Without surgery, he was looking at permanent ear damage and the likelihood of compassionate euthanasia.

The TagsforHope Grant Program covered Brutus’s surgery along with recovery costs.
