Taylor Medd – Animal Behavior Specialist
Taylor Medd is an Animal Behavior Specialist with over 3 years of experience as a professional dog trainer, helping dogs and owners achieve their goals. Taylor has previously worked as a Veterinarian Assistant, Foster Volunteer, Rescue and Rehabilitation Specialist, and Animal Behavior Analyst. Known as the “dog whisperer”, she spends her days helping enhance the communication between a dog and its owner. Taylor is the proud owner of three beautiful German Shepherds named Delta, Echo, and Django.

Shelby Lobzun – Editor
Shelby Lobzun is the Editor for the TagsforHope Blog. Previously, Shelby worked as a Freelance Copywriter and Social Media Coordinator for several brands based out of Toronto, Canada.
Shelby has over 3 years of experience as a professional pet sitter and is an outdoor advocate. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending her evenings spoiling her family dog Ziggy, with homemade treats and long hikes.
Alicia Laurin – Veterinary Assistant
Meet Alicia Laurin, a passionate animal lover and recent veterinary assistant graduate from Ashworth College. She’s also an experienced animal care provider and has teamed up with TagsforHope to share her knowledge and encourage pet owners to continue learning about how to best care for their furry friends.
Growing up, Alicia was always surrounded by animals and currently lives with her partner, two rescue kittens named Rolo and Mouse, and their energetic 3-year-old Border Collie mix, Jasper. Jasper is the life of the party, and they love playing with the kitties, exploring nearby trails, and teaching Jasper new tricks. You can even follow Jasper’s adventures on his Instagram @jaspe.r05.
Alicia’s passion for animals has led her to work with humane societies, veterinary clinics, hospitals, and currently in the field of animal care, wellness, and rehabilitation. Through her vast experiences, she’s developed a wide perspective on how to keep pets looking and feeling their best.
