"Bandit was in bad shape and in desperate need of help"
Bandit arrived to Underdog Animal Rescue as a stray. He was in a bad shape, with matted, dirty, and overgrown fur. After giving him a bath, his gorgeous poodle features were revealed, but they knew there was still work to be done. They wanted to ensure that he wouldn’t contribute to the overpopulation of dogs, so they decided to have him neutered.
However, after a few days, Bandit took an unsuspected turn for the worse. His scrotum began to swell and bruise, making it extremely painful for him to walk. The rescue team suspected that he had an allergic reaction to the surgery, so they rested him and provided him with the necessary care. Fortunately, after five days, the swelling had diminished.

Sadly, Bandit’s scrotum suffered a laceration, causing the fluid to accumulate again. This time, a scrotal ablation surgery was desperately needed to remove the excess fluid and post-operative swelling, which caused Bandit to be in tremendous pain and discomfort. At only 4 years old, it was heartbreaking to see him in such pain, and the team knew that they needed to act fast.
Without the funds for the necessary surgery, Bandit’s quality of life was severely impacted, and euthanasia was a possibility.
However, thanks to the generosity of supporters from TagsforHope, the team was able to fund Bandit’s surgery and treatment, giving him the best chance at a full and happy life. Bandit is now healthy and ready to find his forever home!
